Toddlerhood Stage Milestones 

At this age children start to gain their own independence and make friends. They do at first tend to not want to leave their caregivers sides and may even start to cry.  When it comes to them playing, they do not interact with others directly but will go near them and play. They interact greatly with their caregiver and wants to show them the things they find that they are interested in. 

This point in time is when the terrible twos start, and they test you on how much they can get away with. They do not like the word no and can even throw fits because of not knowing how to handle their emotions. Tey do start around the age of three concern for others around them and start to try for independence.
